Kealy Christian has over 20 years of litigation experience representing health care professionals, healthcare systems, pharmaceutical companies, and medical device manufacturers in matters throughout the United States. Kealy is experienced in managing national litigation dockets; advising and representing health care professionals, health care systems, insurance companies, and personnel regarding all phases of litigation, risk assessment, risk management/mitigation, and contracts; advising and representing pharmaceutical and medical device corporations on FDA regulations, compliance, and risk management/litigation; advising and representing business clients on contract and transactional matters; and representing health care professionals before Medical and Nursing boards. Prior to joining Lapin & Landa, LLP, Kealy practiced for over 20 years at another prominent defense litigation firm in Houston, where she developed extensive knowledge and experience representing clients throughout all phases of litigation, from pre-suit resolution, to trial, to post-verdict appeals.

Kealy obtained her B.S. in Biology from Lamar University and her J.D., cum laude, from South Texas College of Law. During her legal education, Kealy served as a judicial intern for U.S. Magistrate Judge Nancy K. Johnson in the Southern District of Texas and as a judicial intern for Justice Kem Frost in the Fourteenth Court of Appeals. Kealy was a member of Law Review and received academic awards for the highest grades in Constitutional Law, Legal Research and Writing, Intellectual Property Survey, and Copyright Law. Kealy is admitted to the State Bar of Texas, United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Kealy is a member of the Houston Bar Association and a member of the Greater Houston Society for Healthcare Risk Management. Outside of the practice of law, Kealy enjoys spending time with her two children and large extended family, working out, watching sports, traveling, reading, and music.
