Julie’s primary area of practice is now and has always been the defense of hospitals in medical malpractice litigation. With her special empathy and respect for the health care profession, Julie has a particular affinity for the nurses and other hospital and medical staff whom she represents. Also, because of her long-standing interest in professional peer review issues, Julie has developed part of her practice in the non-litigation area of medical and nursing peer review, credentialing, and staffing matters for a variety of hospitals in the greater Houston area.

Julie is a member of the Houston Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, and the Greater Houston Society of Healthcare Risk Management. She married “the boy next door” and spends her leisure time painting, gardening and cooking.
